Calderwood Glass specialise in the manufacture and installation of architectural aluminium, structural glass applications and stained glass windows throughout Ireland and the UK since 1988.
The company was created in 1988 by brothers Stephen and Lewis Calderwood, who both had wide experience in the glass trade. They continued a family tradition of stained and decorative glass from their father, renowned stained glass designer and artist, Jack Calderwood.
Today at Calderwood Glass our wide experience and knowledge of glass and frame engineering enables our highly skilled craftsmen to carry out bespoke and challenging projects.
With commercial clients in Ireland and the UK mainland such as Next, Junction One, local Education & Library Boards and Victoria Square, our team is used to working to strict deadlines and exacting quality standards. We have fulfilled contracts with many government departments, schools and colleges.
Some of the residential projects we have recently completed include large structural glazed units, bi-folding doors and frameless glass balustrades and many of these projects have won design awards. These hi-spec systems lend themselves beautifully to architecturally designed unique homes.
We specialise in all types of stained glass - modern, traditional, domestic and restoration work. Recent stained glass projects have included Belfast City Hall, St Malachy’s Chapel and The Guildhall, all of which involved extensive refurbishment of historically important stained glass.
